12 clubs across Laois, Offaly and Westmeath appealed the initial SCEP allocations and have now been granted funding.
Another €460,000 has been allocated to midlands clubs under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.
This comes after appeals were made nationwide following the original funding allocations in February.
12 sports clubs in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath join 96 other successful appeal applicants in receiving grants today.
The funding goes towards sporting facilities and equipment in Ireland.
