Slight Decrease In Midlands Homelessness Figures

The latest report from the Department of Housing has been released.

There's been another slight decrease in the amount of people registered as homeless in the midlands.

Figures from the Department of Housing has found 148 adult accessed emergency accomodation in the last week of January, three less than in December.

A figure of 65 in Westmeath sees the county once again with the largest number in the region, a fall of three on last month's report.

54 adults in Offaly is one less than December, while 29 in Laois is an increase of one.
