The midlands will be bracing for snow overnight, as Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning.
The alert for snow and ice will come into effect in Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Clare, Tipperary, Galway and Wicklow at 3am in the morning.
It will remain in place until 1pm tomorrow afternoon, and Met Éireann is warning of hazardous travelling conditions and poor visibility.
