Over €150,000 worth of drugs seized in Laois are set to be sent for further examination.
The operation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau on Wednesday saw suspected cannabis, MDMA tablets, and counterfeit prescription tablets, as well as €200,000 in cash seized.
It follows the recovery of €2.4 million worth of cannabis in Meath on Tuesday, and saw a man in his 50s, and a woman in her 40s, arrested.
They're being detained at a Garda station in Laois, and can be held for 72 hours.
Officers say all items of evidential value will now be examined by Forensic Science Ireland.
