Laois is being bypassed by the National Development Plan, according to a TD in the county.
It comes as the latest sectoral investment plan provisioned for works on the N52 and the N4 in the Midlands.
Independent TD Brian Stanley says Laois is being left behind in terms of funding.
He wants the government to keep their promises:
