Tony Holohan's Appointment With Trinity College Should Be Stopped Permanently

That's according to a midlands TD.

The chairman of the Public Accounts Committee is calling for Tony Holohan's appointment with Trinity College to be stopped permanently.

The government has paused the chief medical officer's professorship, pending a report being put together.

Ministers are concerned at the indefinite 'secondment' - and why the state will continue to pay Dr. Holohan's salary.

Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD and PAC chairman, Brian Stanley, says the government needs to take firmer action:
