The ability to track budget spending across the HSE has been a major missing piece in the health service, according to the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee.
HSE bosses were quizzed by PAC members yesterday, where it was revealed the health service would be facing €1.75b in the red for 2023.
That's an increase of half a billion on the year prior.
