The local community has been putting together three projects.
A tribute to the old shoe factory is being launched in the midlands this week.
It involves a series of projects by community arts group, Creative Edenderry, to celebrate a trade that sustained the town for over 50 years.
A new photographic mural on the facade old Tesco building will be unveiled on Tuesday 16th, along with a glass sculpture in the library, and the launch of a book with stories and memories from the old days of the factory live on Facebook on Friday at 8pm.
