She died following a car crash in Athlone yesterday.
Tributes are being paid to the victim of yesterday's fatal car crash in Westmeath.
93 year old Sr. Bernard Lynch died the single-car collision in the Golden Island area of Athlone shortly after 2pm.
Ss. Peter and Paul's Parish says she touched the lives of many families over her more than 50 years in the town and a veil of sadness hangs over the community.
Sr. Bernard is also being remembered fondly as a teacher by former pupils of St. Peter's National School - and by her friend, Teresa Bell:
