The new leader of Fine Gael is among those paying tribute to a former midlands TD on the tenth anniversary of her death.
Former Longford Westmeath Deputy Nicky McFadden passed away on this day in 2014, following a battle of Motor Neurone Disease.
She served as a TD for three years, after serving as a Senator with Fine Gael for four years.
In a post on social media, Fine Gael Leader Simon Harris says Ms. McFadden was a friend, a colleague, and a committed public servant and she is as missed today as ever.
