There's an urgent appeal for blood donations.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says stocks are running low, particularly of O Negative, and need to be replenished for the bank holiday weekend.
Appointment-only donation clinics will be in operation in Clara, Birr and Portarlington next week.
Operations Director Paul McKinney is urging people to donate blood over the coming days:
