The move represents the company's fourth acquisition in a year.
A Westmeath consultancy service has acquired a prominent fire safety business.
Mullingar's ORS has successfully acquired Kildare-based Pro-Fire and Design, known for its knowledge of the country's fire safety building regulations.
The move represents the company's fourth acquisition in a year, which has seen it grow its revenue to €25 million.
It's hoped the development will allow ORS clients to navigate upcoming changes to construction legislation effectively.
ORS says it will be business as usual at both companies, as they look to ensure high-quality service for their existing clients.
Managing Director of ORS, John Brennan, says the move aligns perfectly with their commitment to offering unparalleled expertise in fire safety and disability access:
"With the upcoming changes to legislation, our enhanced capabilities are crucial for our clients and the construction industry as a whole.
The integration of ProFire’s expertise ensures that we can provide the highest level of comprehensive and innovative services, helping our clients navigate the new regulations effectively and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance."
Managing Director of ProFire, Ray Cuddihy, added:
"Our ability to leverage ORS’s extensive resources and technical capabilities will enable us to enhance and optimise our existing operations, resulting in significant synergies and expanded service delivery.
This acquisition reflects our commitment to growth and value creation for our clients.
We also believe there is significant potential to unlock additional opportunities in the fire safety consultancy market."
