Councillor Paul Hogan has called for a Baby Loss Certificate Scheme to help parents in navigating their grief at a recent sitting of the Athlone-Moate Municipal District.
The scheme provides official recognition to parents who experience the loss of a baby during pregnancy before 24 weeks, offering an official document to acknowledge their grief, validate their loss, and help break stigma.
