A Westmeath councillor says making space for motor homes will be a major boost to local tourism.
It appeared as a suggestion in a submission during the public consulation process on the estimated €78 million euro Westmeath Sports Complex in Mullingar.
The local authority says that while there wouldn't be room on the planned swimming pool site, it is something they will take into future consideration.
