Westmeath County Council are partnering with the GAA and Gardaí for a local road safety campaign.
This comes as nearly 40% of people killed or injured on roads are between the ages of 18 and 35.

The campaign will see large signs in local club grounds with the message 'Be a team player. Think road safety. A mistake on the field could cost the game; a mistake on the road could cost your life'.
