An Irish Winter Olympian is being described as "very driven" by her Westmeath family.
Annette Dalton is a first cousin of the mother of Annabelle Zurbay, who is currently competing in the slalom and giant slalom at the Winter Olympics.
The 17 year old competed in the Giant Slalom runs this morning, where she finished 57th in the first run with a time of 56.91 seconds.
Her second run will takes place this afternoon.
