Alternative water supplies were deployed to homes following Storm Bert.
Thousands of people across Westmeath should be getting their water supply back after a weekend that saw resevoirs across the county run dry.
The Ballany Water Treatment Plant was impacted by production capacity issues due to poor raw water quality following Storm Bert.
The outage affected communities all across Westmeath including Fore, Castlepolllard, Collinstown, and Coole among others.
Alternative Water Supplies in the form of bulk containers and tankers have been deployed across the county.
Uisce Éireann say they regret the inconvenience caused, and is urging customers to conserve water as it returns to allow the storage reserves replenish.
