The plan for Kilbeggan will see 13 new houses built.
Permission has been granted on a residential development in a Westmeath town.
The proposed development includes 13 houses on the Tullamore Road in Kilbeggan.
The units are a mix of semi-detatched houses and three bed townhouses by applicants Lambe Bros.
Works also include providing public open space areas, car parking spaces and footpaths to link with the nearby existing housing estate of The Gallops.
Westmeath County Council have granted permission subject to 19 conditions.
