A number of delays in the county have come under the spotlight.
The delivery of some social housing developments in Westmeath has been delayed for as long as two years.
Ashe Road, in Mullingar, was due to be finished in 2022, however it remains incomplete without a definitive date for when it will be ready.
It's approaching one year since another development in Charlestown was due to be complete - 12 of those units were finished at the end of last year, while the remaining homes are set to be ready next month.
Fianna Fáil Councillor, Ken Glynn, says these issues are going on for too long, particularly at a time when more housing is needed:
