National Volunteering Weeks is being celebrated across the midlands this week!
Volunteers in Westmeath have given over 3,000 hours of their time since the start of the year.
Westmeath Volunteering Centre has released the figures to mark National Volunteering Week.
The service provides training and assistance to anyone who wishes to help out in their local community.
Centre manager, Peter Ormond says they are currently looking for volunteers to help out at this year's Fleadh, which is takes place in Mullingar this summer:
Volunteers with Jack & Jill Charity Boutique Portlaoise were given a lovely surprise today a lovely gift bag as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
