Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning for Hospice will take place this month.
Three Westmeath women have been nationally recognised for their long-standing dedication to hospice fundraising.
Anne Donohoe from Mullingar was awarded a Together for Hospice Hero award after a decade supporting North Westmeath Hospice, inspired by her late husband’s care.
Esther Cuffe and Bernie Moran, of Ballymore, also received awards for hosting annual coffee mornings for over 20 years in aid of South Westmeath Hospice.
This year’s Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning for Hospice aims to raise €2 million nationwide, and will take place on September 25.
Local events can be held anytime, with all proceeds staying in the community to support hospice care.
