Westmeath star Niamh Algar has been nominated for a BAFTA.
The Mullingar actor has made it onto the shortlist in the Supporting Actress category for her role in the film 'Calm with Horses'.
Her co-star Barry Keoghan has been nominated for Supporting Actor, with Shaheen Baig making the Casting shortlist, and the film itself receiving a nomination for Outstanding British Film.
The prestigous awards ceremony will take place virtually on April 11th.
