The prospect of a White Christmas hasn't gone away just yet, but if snow does fall, it's not expected to stick around for long.
Models have been "chopping and changing" over recent days, making it hard to tell what we'll see on Christmas Day, according to Laois Weather.
Currently, it's expected to be two or three degrees on the morning of the big day, with temperatures forecast to climb to around six or seven later on.
