Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
Gardai in Laois are investigating an accident that resulted in a lady being injured as a result of a collision.
The woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road after getting off a bus.
The incident occurred yesterday at around 7pm at Kilminchy on Dublin Road, Portlaoise.
The driver of a motorcycle stopped and spoke with witness at scene.
Gardai are looking for this motorcyclist to come forward and if any member of the public witnessed this incident they are being asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 0578674100.
