Some areas can expect flooding as a result of torrential rain today.
A yellow rainfall warning has been extended to parts of the midlands.
The alert is now in place for Laois and Offaly, as well as Tipperary and most of Leinster, until midnight.
Five counties on the south and east coasts are also under an orange rain warning.
