Connacht out-half is positive mood if season can be salvaged
Athlone's Connacht and Irish international out-half Jack Carty says that he is hopeful that the season can be finished at some stage or other.
Speaking to today's Irish Independent Carty says that it might be possible to finish the season off in July and August. "The Rugby season is pretty minuscule in comparison to what is going on but it would great to have a season to finish, We (Connacht) had got ourselves into a strong position" he said.
But he acknowledges that everything depends on the bigger picture in the country going forward
He also says that he would love to play for Ireland again at some stage in the future.
