Shane Lowry Looks To Build On Early Momentum At Houston Open

Shane Lowry faces a 26-hole slog on day two of the Houston Open on the PGA Tour.

Play was suspended with the Clara man on the 10th hole of his opening round and two under par overall, three shots of the lead of Russell Henley.

The former Open champion started strongly, picking up birdies on five and six and remaining bogey free up until the close of play.

The first round of the @HouOpenGolf was suspended due to darkness at 5:36 p.m.

Play will resume at 7:00 a.m. Friday. Round two will begin at 8:40 a.m.

Players will resume their first round at 1pm Irish time, with the second round due to begin at 2:40pm, though Lowry is likely to be out later into the afternoon.
