A new survey has found parents spend 52 hours a month driving children to activities - adding up to 624 hours a year.

36% say they like driving children around because they chat more in the car.

45% say they've stayed up later than they liked at the weekends to pick up their child from a party.

While the survey by webuyanycar.com, also found 57% of parents have never once been thanked by their child for giving them a lift.
