14,200 People In The Midlands Receiving Pandemic Unemployment Payment

Nationally almost 32,000 fewer people are getting the payment.  

There has been a reduction of 1,500 in the number of people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the midlands this week.

Nationally almost 32,000 fewer people are receiving the payment.  

There are 14,200 people in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath getting paid through the scheme. 

Meanwhile, an estimated 415,000 employees are being supported by the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme.
