Planning has been granted for a new Snap Fitness gym in Tullamore.
Plans for a new 24-hour gym in Offaly have been granted planning permission.
Offaly County Council has given the green light for the new facility, which will also open seven days per week, in the Tullamore Retail Park.
It will be based in the old Carpet Right unit, which has been unoccupied for nearly a year.
The site will facilitate the development of a new Snap Fitness, representing the chain's 4th gym in Ireland.
The planning report says there's a demand for such a business in the area.
The local authority granted planning permission subject to eight conditions.
