He passed away in a workplace incident yesterday morning.
A midlands community has been "rocked" by the death of a well-known business owner.
Castletown Geoghegan's Pauric Kirby passed away in a workplace incident yesterday morning, after falling from a height at a garage in Mullingar.
Mr. Kirby ran his own construction company, and the Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation after his death.
Cathaoirleach of Westmeath County Council, Liam McDaniel, says the local community will band together to support Pauric's family and each other:
Mr. Kirby is being described as a "gifted carpenter," who "took great pride in his family."
He recently done some work on Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy's home - he says the news of Pauric's death is "horrific:"
