Agriculture Department Paying Out €3m To Forest Owners In Midlands

It's all part of the 2020 forestry premium.

The Department of Agriculture will pay forest owners in the Midlands over €3m.

It's part of a €33.24m Forestry premium for 2020 announced by Minister of State Andrew Doyle. 

Offaly owners are the biggest beneficies with over €1.1m in payments. 

Owners in Wesmeath will also receive over €1m while those in Laois will get more than €844,000.
