Public audiology services are returning to Laois.
They'll be housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility on St. Fintan's Campus in Portlaoise and re-open before the end of the month - according to local Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley, who's received confirmation from the HSE.
The services was transferred to Tullamore last year when construction got underway.
Deputy Stanley says it's a relief to patients in Laois, many of whom have been on waiting lists for months:
