The party has found there's less than 70 GPs in the area.
There's less than 70 practicing GPs in Laois and Offaly.
The figures have been revealed by Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley, who says there's a 'chronic shortage' of general practitioners in the area.
The IMO recommends there be one GP for every 833 of the population, however that figure is one to 2,483 in Laois, and one to 2,683 in Offaly.
