There are concerns that a new meat processing plant in Offaly is being "willfully obstructed".
It's now 17 months since a report from An Bord Pleanála on the proposed Banagher Chilling plant was due to be published.
The planning body sought further information on the multi-million euro project in March, which it's now considering - according to Laois-Offaly TD Carol Nolan.
The independent deputy says an explanation for the repeated delays is needed.
She's calling for tighter regulation of the body:
