It's under Stage 1 of the Community Centres Fund which focuses on minor projects.
Community centres across the midlands have been awarded the maximum amount of funding available under a new specialised scheme.
Stage 1 of the Community Centres Fund is focused on minor projects- with grants of up to €25,000.
Portarlington Community Centre and Timahoe Community Centre in Laois both received €25,000 for renovations to their toilet facilities.
In Westmeath-Castledaly Community Development Centre also received €25,000 for accessiblity upgrades.
While in Offaly-the highest amount went to Birr Theatre and Community Centre who were awarded €24,554 for lighting upgrades.
