A drink driver has been arrested on the roads of Laois.
The Roads Policing Unit on patrol in Ballacolla yesterday detected the untaxed vehicle.
When stopped, gardaí discovered the motorist was under the influnece of an intoxitant and was already disqualified from driving.
The vehicle was seized and the driver has been charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court.
