The water supply has been removed from the EPA'S "at risk" list
A upgrade to the water supply worth €9.7 million has been completed in Offaly.
Uisce Eireann have marked a completed upgrade to the Clara water treatment plant this week which serves the nearby communites of Ferbane, Ballycumber, Doon, Belmont, Shannonharbour, and Shannonbridge.
It's been marked with a tree planting ceremony of native trees. with local students from Ard Scoil Chiaráin Naofa.
It also means the water supply has been removed from the EPA'S "at risk" list
