National Farm Safety Week enters its eleventh year today with the theme 'Make Farm Safety A way of life'.
Farmers throughout the country are being urged to check tractors and other equipment on their land to ensure safety standards are met.
Recent HSA figures have shown tractors account for over 50% of vehicle related accidents.

Farmers who ride Quad bikes will need to complete a bike training course as new laws come into effect later this year.
The new regulations mean anyone who drives a Quad bike will have to comply with safety standards and undergo a full QQI instruction course.
