Former Fine Gael TD for Laois/Offaly Olwyn Enright appointed as director of DHR Communications.
She'll join the PR firm next month with a remit of engagement strategies, media and communications training and reputation management.
The Birr woman spent over a decade in politics between 1999 and 2011, serving three years on Offaly County Council before a seven year term in Dáil Eireann.
She announced her retirement in 2010 and has been working in the public affairs and communications sector since.
Speaking on her appointment, the 47-year-old said:
Throughout my career I have sought to work in the public interest and working with DHR will allow me to focus on public interest communications across a variety of areas.
