The funerals of two midlands men who died in separate crashes over the weekend will take place today.
Mountrath's Joe Drennan was killed in a hit and run in Limerick on Friday night, and Moate's John Stones passed away after a collision on Saturday in Roscommon.
Mr. Stones passed away following a crash involving his motorbike and a car on the Ballinasloe to Shannonbridge Road in Cloneish.
He will be laid to rest in Kilcurley Cemetery following his funeral mass in the Church of the Holy Family in Tubber at 12 noon.
He is survived by his mum Marian, his brothers Brian and Joseph, sister Katie, and his grandparents.
Meanwhile, the family and friends of Joe Drennan will gather to say goodbye to the journalism student in St. Fergal's Church, Camross at 3 o'clock.
He was waiting at a bus stop when he was involved in the two car collision in Castletroy.
He was the editor in chief for Limerick Voice, University of Limerick's student newspaper.
