Witness Appeal - Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Kishawanny, Carbury, Co. Kildare, 12th December 2025
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision on the R402 at Kishawanny, Carbury, Co. Kildare, this morning, Friday 12th December 2025.
The collision, involving a bus, a car and a pedestrian, occurred at approximately 6.30am.
The male pedestrian (aged in his 30's) has been pronounced deceased. His body remains at the scene.
The coroner has been notified. No other injuries were reported at the time.
The scene is being held pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The R402 at Kishawanny Road junction is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Friday 12th December 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
