Four people were taken to hospital following the incident.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash in the midlands which resulted in four people being taken to hospital.
The collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred on the Ballinagar to Geashill road yesterday morning at around 8.20am.
Two men in their 20s and two women in their 50s and 80s were taken to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment.
All four were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, however, one of the people involved is understood to have more serious injuries.
The road has since been re-opened and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
