Fraudsters are posing as Three Ireland staff, offering fake deals or upgrades to steal personal details.

Offaly Gardaí are issuing a warning about a phone scam targeting members of the public.

Scammers are posing as employees of Three, offering discounts or account upgrades to obtain personal information.

Gardaí confirmed with Three that the calls are fraudulent and are not being made by company staff.

People are advised never to share passwords, security codes, or banking details over the phone.

Anyone who believes they have been targeted should contact their bank immediately and report the incident.
