They are reminding people to lock their car doors.
Gardaí are investigating after a number of items were stolen from a parked car in the midlands.
Cash and a mobile phone were taken from the vehicle in the incident, which occurred on Moorpark Street in Birr on Sunday afternoon, the 13th of August.
Gardaí are advising vehicle owners to lock their doors, especially when leaving valuables in the car.
They are also appealing for witnesses with camera or dashcam footage, in relation to this incident, to come forward.
