Gardai Issue Fresh Appeal For Offaly Arson Attack

Gardai say they're "determined" to bring those responsible before the courts.

Gardaí investigating the fatal house fire in Offaly earlier this month are issuing a fresh appeal for information.

Four-year-old Tadhg Farrell and his grand-aunt Mary Holt were killed when a suspected petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Edenderry on the evening of Saturday the 6th of December.

Tadhg’s grandmother, who was also in the house at the time, continues to receive hospital treatment for serious burn injuries.

Gardaí say they're "determined, and will identify all those responsible" and "bring them before the courts".

As Christmas approaches, they're making a direct appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
