A man in his 30s died following the single-vehicle collision, which occurred near the Tullamore Golf Club on Saturday morning, at around 5.10am.
An examination by Forensic Collision Investigators has since taken place in the area.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, to come forward.
