Marrion Dillon is among the first residents to move into Heritage Village in Killenard.
The development, is aimed at people aged 55 and over and will eventually include 166 homes, a community hub, medical facilities, and leisure amenities.
Ms Dillon says the appeal is having security and access to age-friendly services:
