A five year plan for tackling homelessness in the midlands was released at the end of last month.
The Midland Regional Homelessness Action Plan will only succeed if it's fully funded.
Midlands Simon Community is welcoming the objectives and policies outlined in the five year plan.
The homelessness charity is happy to see specific objectives set around early intervention prevention of youth homelessness supporting programmes that would use family mediation to resolve issues at home.
Last week the Department of Housing confirmed there were 95 children who accessed emergency accommodation in the midlands in the month of April.
