Almost 600 American tourists visited a midlands tourist attraction over the weekend.
The group, which travelled to Ireland for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, travelled to Birr Castle Demesne yesterday.
The Northwestern Wildcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers were playing in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
Thousands of fans got to enjoy free pints and food at after a card processing error.
Around 75% of the food and drink allocation was given away for free because of the error with the card payments system used by the events catering company.
Organisers kept supplying food and drinks while the problem was resolved, something that took over two hours.
